Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...
I'm feeling very gay right now because my IELTS has OVER!
repeat:
OVER!!!
haha...
The good thing is I feel that I've done it very well...
haha..... I'm not over-confident as this can convince me that I will get a good result, then, IF I failed, I will be very disappointed with myself.(نعوذ بالله من ذلك) So, take it as something that you will never be too confident.
After finished the writing part(last part), the invigilator ask me...
"How much do you need for your course?"
"I need Band 6.5 but I think I can score 7.5," I replied. (perasan hebat)
"I think your listening and reading part is ok. Now it just depend on your speaking and writing part," she told me.
"Ok."
What???! I assume that she want to tell me that i've done it well, 'I GUESS' la...
haha... Enough...
So there are a few tips to score for a higher band.. So, here it is....
HOW TO SCORE IN IELTS
1. Speak
You may do a public speaking. But it still ok if you just speak with your friends or family or teachers or lecturers. During the speaking test, don't feel nervous. The interviewer is a human just like you.
2. Listen
Just listen to songs or academic recordings and try to figure out each words that is pronounced. It will help you. If you miss the point during the exam, there's nothing you can do unless you left the answer blank or you may guess the answer based on the sentence. SOMETIMES it works. For better, listen to British accent recordings. This dirty accent is used in IELTS.
3. Read
This is quite hard for a person that hate reading. Just like me. You have no choice. You have to. There's another alternative. You may read the subtitle of a movie while watching and listening to the movie.
It's still ok if without the 3D effects...
4. Write
Write if you are very hardworking. I just write it for sake of my lecturer only.(استغفر الله العظيم) You may also type it.
5. Practice

p/s:
IELTS is easier and less strict rather than MUET... (Miss Ili - IELTS lecturer who sat for MUET when she was in Form 6)
Alhamdulillah...
